@AmyShackles I just assumed that someone like you would be a hot commodity everywhere. If it was by choice, good for you! I also recently switched and had a hard time negotiating any time off.
As you are not anonymous here I can see it's not wise to speak out, no worries.

@hjk101 The long unemployment wasn’t by choice. I think the fact that my last gig was my first in the industry and I didn’t stay a whole year was part of the problem. Not knowing what level to apply for was another. 😅
