I don't use machine learning often. But when i did, it worked exceptionally well as soon is i understood that you can have too much neurons and layers, and that you have to worry more about overfitting than underfitting.

Also did not try to make ANNs do something which is actually hard for grown up humans to do or even would require divine powers to pull off...
