Why recruiters want me to fill up the Application form and I dont get any reply from them since. Is this a data collection thing?

    Fill out the form in case you get a response - if you don't, then assume you've been passed up. There's literally zero point chasing, it's a waste of time.

    Recruiters generally won't bother emailing you back to say "no", as this 2 second polite courtesy doesn't make them money.

    I'm going to second what AlmondSauce said about recruiters rarely offering a no. Applied to 230 jobs prior to my previous job and only got about 30 nos. The rest never got back.

    @stupid-punk I treat it as part of the job hunting. "No response" is just a "no" for me.
