So what percentage of software projects just get rewritten to make sure people have jobs these days ?

    Mean cases where people code and recode literally the same project because they don’t get utilized otherwise because there is no demand for new projects to justify them

    Most software development at the corporate level tends to be profit driven hence why Linux isn’t better organized and old tool chains not updated and still often in

    Companies aren't interested in randomly giving people jobs for the sake of it. If they've no work for you to do, they're not just going to let you do random pointless crap - they'd just make you redundant.
