    @Oktokolo not so much boring as very sweaty when you have to restore a bunch anonymized data for active customers 🤷‍♂️

    @Voxera nothing's every really forgotten, backups exists for reasons 😁

    Be careful about eternal backups though. You have to get rid of data you aren't allowed to keep anymore at least eventually...

    @hobblin with gdpr that can be very expensive if the backups are stored for to long.

    Gdpr gives some wiggle room but only as long as you can motivate it.

    If its determined that you are deliberately sidestepping the rules its quite harsh.
