iiii92193yI actually miss chitchat with my colleagues and with a barista. I don't miss having to spend around an hour and a half in transit, especially because I can wake up several hours later, because no one really cares when I work, but how I work. No one needs me early in the morning, and as I've notic emu colleagues are all working later than usual business hours as well

iiii92193yBtw, yes... Having some sort of switching from work mode to home mode is actually missing. The transit in the evening was a time when i was just chilling: listening to music or sleeping or chatting with other colleagues.

I have the option of going to the office but no one from my team does and so I'd still be on Teams for meetings and so forth. Wouldn't really have the chitchat. I do miss that too. My social life isn't busy enough to make up the difference in human contact

iiii92193y@TheBeardedOne I feel you. my personal life is pretty barren as well, especially with mandatory and non-mandatory lockdowns

I used to have a commute of 2h each way, and tomorrow I'm giving my job an ultimatum that if some form of regular in-person stuff doesn't resume then I'm off for good.

mundo0349783yI have been working remote and from home for almost 5 years.
I like visiting the office, but don't want to be there eveeyday
Does anyone else dig working from home but miss the thrill of getting home from the office?
