I guess i have to be thankful for not knowing whomever wrote this fucking piece of shit of a PHP app that i have to fix stupid bugs in a daily basis.
Cause if i did know the bastard.. i'm pretty sure i would fucking bash his useless head in with anything i had in my hands at the moment... FUCK!.

The level of ignorance and stupidity.. i can't even begin to comprehend.

The worst is that we can't even rewrite this fucking piece of buggy shit cause the bosses are so fucking proud of their deformed creation and wont pay us decently to even to that in the first place.

I once added this to our coding standard

"Always code as if the guy who ends up maintaining your code will be a violent psychopath who knows where you live."
    - Martin Golding

Manager got upset and deleted it, but I tried to justify it by saying 90% of the coding standard could go away if devs understood:
    - Be a good steward. You are writing code someone else is going to have to maintain.
    - Document the 'why', not the 'what',
    - Don't be clever, don't be cute, and keep it simple.

Could give a rats arse about tabs vs. spaces, underscore private variables, or any of that other petty nonsense I have to listen to.

@PaperTrail I'd be happy if only they kept it simple.. Documenting would be too much to ask.
