I’m searching for a engineering management job… I was told by two recruiters from two separate companies that they were going to give me offers and that I was an amazing hire… They then ghosted me for a week and then didn’t give me an offer.

Ya companies have less and less respect and respectability these days
But they still don’t want fire and forget apps
Kind of an antiquated system of job placement imho

@MadMadMadMrMim it's why so many people have imposter syndrome: no meaningful feedback that isnt tinged by HR or some other agenda (university student turn over), etc.

The world is a fun house mirror, and reality no longer teaches people the difference between what's real and what's bullshit.

Same thing happen with me I was thinking to write on LinkedIn and tagging them but then I thought I am kind of happy at my current org after my promotion

@Wisecrack yeah commented on this once upon a time regarding how that one agenda is mostly about hollowing out institutions to limit who’s actually learning and put more brain dead mean spirited sex workers in their long term resting places
