I don't know who tf thought it would be a good idea to implement Workspace Trust in an IDE and force enable it on update. Yeah. It's so fun having to click "I trust this workspace" every single time when I get a new project or a code from someone, even when I open a project that I created but didn't open since this update.

    I don't trust this giant project, I only wrote most of it, but MS knows better then me and knows I shouldn't trust my own work either 😅

    Sounds like lawyers added that, to avoid lawsuits.
    "Well. You Trusted the code! it is your fault!"

    No, it's because extensions (and maybe VSCode itself) can execute code from workspaces on opening. It should've been a small ribbon on the bottom bar with dangerous features disabled until you click OK.
