People do not know the value of simplicity... They want a system that does EVERYTHING ANYBODY EVER wanted, forgetting that this approach will always cause problems in future

    Simplicity is only valuable if it covers all use cases regarding your data. Digital systems are datastores and -channels, and if you can't accommodate all required data and dataflow patterns then your users will invent methods outside your system to do what must be done, leading to duplication and likely leading to an unstructured stack of handwritten paper becoming the universal source of truth.
