Clarification: I'm well aware that Steve himself said that he did not want the company to continue by trying to divine "What would Steve do here?", and I respect his reasons why. Unfortunately, the people Steve left in charge have interpreted it not as permission to take risks, but as justification to throw out the things that made the company successful.
