@RememberMe unfortunately has a point
I used to catch flack for getting up once an hour to stretch my legs or talk to a coworker even about work
This helped me refocus sometimes and keep my head level
Otherwise my hands ached me legs fell asleep and by Wednesday I had no energy left
Going to lunch when i wanted and varying my schedule worked better too
Maybe I’d take a longer lunch and stay longer to make up for it
I liked my job I just got burnt out -
Honestly I think exercising more would have really really helped
And not smoking
And a little vape of the mj rather than herb and a blowjob once and awhile lol -
I did like working from home when I wasn’t loaded up with other stressors an office got me away from
But you know
They don’t like productive -
@aviophile for once i see one of your comments and think, oh not quite an asshole :P because who gets to work like this ? :P

p329298415dThe "do something that doesn't use the same part of your brain" bit is the part people skip — they take a break by switching to a different screen. The timer advice holds though

Don’t work from exact place you eat everyday or sleep or entertain.
If you can’t focus set timer from 15 minutes to 1 hour and do something else that is not engaging your brain the same way your work does.
Go for a walk.
Take a break from electronic devices.
Take a shower.
Take a nap.
Take a dump.
Make a list of things todo before you eat.
Make groceries.
Clean your house a little.
Make a laundry.
Any manual labor helps if you need brain muscles for thinking.
