Need help deciding the final year project.
Any suggestions?

My suggestion is to do something fun. Like a game or something. When I was in college I did some lame cms tool that no one enjoyed doing. It seems as if teams that dos something fun learned more and did a better job overall.

Do an IOT project. It's so trendy nowdays. 😉

I agree with @oakeybears. My senior project was a 3D open world successor to Duck Hunt called That Ducking Game. You explored the game world, and your hunting dog would guide you to different hunting blinds. Once there, the camera was locked to the shooting area for the event. We had a 3 man team, six weeks, and used Unity with C# as the scripting language. It was fun and did not feel like a project.
