I get you're a little over twice my fucking age but you still shouldn't need a step by fucking step instruction book to download and open a damn document. Especially since you do it every damn day in office. Just cause you're remote on a laptop doesn't change how shit works.

Hell I took the damn time to make your laptop as close yp your desktop as I could. And asked you to test it before you left. You didn't. At this point its just incompetent and not my problem.

Just to add some details so original post isn't astronomically long. Shes 'technically' on vacation. But because our boss is a bitch she was told to type reports on her vacation so a laptop needed setup. I did that last week. Asked her to test it. She left yesterday. Today she tried using it. I set it up as close to her desktop assuming she'd get it easy. But apparently she left all her tech knowledge in the office. And can't do anything shes used to doing in office remotely

I'm dealing with her and the boss who's being a bitch. Today was the closest I've been to a breakdown on the job. And its literally o er someone not knowing how to download a docx from a Gmail email. And open it in Word

So glad I have interviews lined up. I'm so drained at this fucking place. I contemplate bad things every morning just to not go into work

At 48, she’s definitely not too old to know how to use a computer. It’s even more fucked up that she’s been using one for years. It’s more about her being a dumbass bc it’s taking years for her to learn basic shit like this
