Have been playing the pirated version of Rust for 30+ hours with no issues.

Decide to buy the game and every fucking time the game turns into Chrome and consumes all my RAM forcing Windows to show the low on memory dialog.

Lesson learned I guess.

    Pirating a 15 dollar indie game? Ouch.

    @JerreMuesli I get bored so easily that I cannot justify paying for something I don't know I'll keep playing.

    Obviously I liked Rust a lot so I went and bought it (<10 Euro on g2a).

    Also, at this point you cannot really call Rust an indie.

    That's no excuse. You are able to return games on steam, if you don't like them. I hope somebody steals your work as well.

    @Makenshi deal with it. I pirate as well. Come and get me 😋

    @Makenshi I am not making any excuses.

    I don't buy staff I don't need or like, especially the "ones and zeros" kind.

    If I hadn't played the free/pirate version I would never consider buying it, I can assure you of that.

    and in the end you are buying from a shady place like G2A to save little money...

    I mean 30 hours. 30 fucking hours. How many more hours has a game to entertain you until it's okay to buy it?

    @r4nter until I can justify buying it. If I can't then I don't.

    @r4nter Half price is better than full price.
    I used g2a because it had good reviews and chose a seller with thousands of sales.

    If they are shady it's a job for the authorities to determine, I don't have the means to do it.

    The number of hours is not important, the game has to pass the honeymoon phase test.

    @CorruptComputer Agree, but c'mon.. No man's sky was obvious from the start that it could only turn into a mediocre game. It's core is based on world generation, not simple pure gameplay.
