I'm trying to land a job that uses react on the front end, but I have no experience with it on the job. I have used it in spare time for other (unpublishable) projects.

Any ideas as to what could be good showcase projects that display my familiarity with React that do not require a year to finish?

I got my current job - first dev job, second job overall - while only being familiar with React’s own tutorial. What won then? My basics. My HTML, CSS and JS basics were good enough for my company to offer me a job.

    1. Brush up your fundamentals
    2. Apply to that job even if you don’t have all the skills
    3. Be honest and confident in the interview
    4. ???
    5. Profit

@Cyanide seconding this, the role I got this week took me without react or c#, on the strength of my problem solving. OP, be honest and show that you've learned it, maybe showing snippets of your 'unpublishable' project?
