Installing Linux mint... super nervous... here goes nothing

    No need to be nervous. These will be awesome memories in the future (if you're sufficiently young).

    I still remember the first time I installed Ubuntu 12.04 on my laptop and bitting for first time :)

    Yea not being biased or anything but try Arch it will help you learn

    @jonjo and mint isn't that bad!
    Other distros might be better, but mint is stable and pretty and supports everything Ubuntu does.

    It's a good choice, especially for beginners.
    (Besides, it's green! 💚)

    All the power of linux running smoothly, no headaches so far. Been using it for about 3 years. My personal recommendation: Install Synapse Launcher, everything will be a CTRL-Space away.
