Wondering why a certain variable of mines wouldnt update properly... God I'm stupid sometimes

@giboork just make it quick--i like, just got out of bed and i probably wont even notice for the first few seconds--not to mention i accidentally reposted this thinking that it didnt send last night due to the 1 rant per hour thing.
