All OS is shit for some purpose.
MacOS is shit for everthing except Adobe, And Media editing.
Windows is shit for everything execpt games.
Linux is total shit, unless you know how to solve its weird problems by manually editing the some random files using an outdated document from 2017, or 2005. Probaly using the Arch wiki, evem though your distribution is *not* Arch. Maybe good for coding if you take the time to i3/vim/emac properly. -

Now, can anyone tell me how to disable avahi, and get the dhcpd to stop fucking up my vpn dns server? cuase every 8 days, the vpn dns gets overridden with the dhcp default! maybe the Arch wiki can help.... -
Your crap is someone else's diamond, and vice versa. Windows is a piece of crap to you because it doesn't respect users, to someone else Linux is a pile of crap because it has no drivers available for their 10 year old photo scanner.
People's priorities are different, and there's nothing wrong with that. I hate them all to varying degrees for different reasons.
If you need workarounds and tricks to make your computer obey you, your operating system is trash. MacOS, Windows, I’m looking at you. This is indisputable.
Instead of defending that crap, just admit it. You did nothing wrong. You was forced to use it, because I understand that not every piece of software can run on Linux. Perhaps you earn money using Photoshop or any other Adobe software. There’s nothing wrong with it. You don’t become a baby-eating trash supporter billyboy if you’re just using an OS.
Perhaps you like macOS UI better than KDE or Epiphany. There’s nothing wrong with it either.
But please don’t defend trash just because you use it for one reason or another. Admit it to yourself and say “yes, the OS I use is a piece of crap that doesn’t respect users, but right now I’m forced to use it because of the software I make a living with”. This is the only non-traumatic way to start defending your rights.
