"Hi can you make an app for me? I can't pay you yet but I'll give you 25% stock options. It'll take like 2 weeks right?"

    I've come to a conclusion with favours like this. Either I tell them that I'll help them learn how to program so that they can build it themselves.

    If they somehow aren't invested in themselves and their app enough...

    I tell them that if they can't pay yet and I'm doing them a favor, I'll forgo the stock options if they give my aging overweight relative their daily sponge bath, or some other task they're going to not want to do.

    If both ideas are rejected I simply reply: "You can't want your idea to succeed enough then, can you?"

    this is every damn startup kid on social medias.. i have a Limited budget means -> you will have to do this for free..
