Thank you SoundCloud for telling me your app has an update despite the fact my phone auto updates when connected to WiFi.

    You're using a very old version then. You probably disabled auto updates or installed the APK manually.

    Nope it auto updates the link leads to the play store which says its updated lol

    Actually not sure if the screenshot proves anything but I do have auto updates on and all

    @f03n1x what's your app version?
  • 2
    @BrianValente 2017-03-03 release, same as on the app store
  • 1
    @f03n1x nope, latest on Play Store is 2017.03.16
  • 2
    @BrianValente odd for some reason my app store says otherwise o.o sorry I meant play store, forgot to mention that I have a OnePlus 3.

    @f03n1x maybe it's not available for your country yet. Download the update from APKMirror: http://apkmirror.com/apk/...

    @BrianValente I don't mind tbh just seems like if it isn't rolled out in my country I shouldn't get notifs for updates :/

    You can definitely do location checks for this kind of thing.

    Thanks for the help though @BrianValente

    i don't know how it goes to you :)

    Soundcloud have a very disappointing use experience. For example if you pause a song and come back the app 15 mins a later it has freshed everything to your home screen and forgotten you were ever playing a song. Isn't that the whole point of the app, to make discovering and listening to music easy?

    @coffeeneia hell yeah! Final fantasy is awesome, though I played ff10 more as a kid so other world is one of my faves.

    @tayk5 yeah you'd think so I remember reading up about some artists had their songs locked to the premium version despite getting no profit which seems odd.

    There should definitely be a way to store the whole song like with watching a YouTube vid, and how it loads the whole video.

    @f03n1x it was covered by periphery, anyways. Hope you like it. It really is so cool and the best cover so far in electric guitar 😉
  • 1
    @coffeeneia I thought I'm the only one listening to Periphery
  • 3
    @matanl oh no, you're not.
  • 3
    @coffeeneia well I'll definitely listen to it when I get to work or magically get data lol

    @coffeeneia I had a listen at work it sounds really good reminds me of another bunch of people that did game music covers - with ether

    They do lots of game music covers

    @f03n1x yep, they do. they also had a midi cover. i don't know if you liked it but it sounds so funny. haha

    @coffeeneia oh on my SoundCloud likes I have a couple of midi covers for some anime intros they sound pretty good, would definitely be good for a ringtone, except the full 2 mins is a bit too long lol
