atheist98483yADHD representing. Don't worry too much about language or memorization. If they're judging you for that they're judging for bad reasons, hopefully you can find something better.
Focus on what you're good at. Solving problems? Helping others? Creative solutions? I'm not saying see it as a superpower, but you can acknowledge your strengths. We're more prone to low self opinion.
Good luck! -
Not sure you should drop down to junior dev. I know what you’re saying but there’s no guarantee that you will get a pay rise/title no matter how much you impress.
Just consider it carefully, it might take you years to get back to your current level.
Tech changes all the time so being a mid/senior doesn’t automatically mean you need to know everything right away -
@TrevorTheRat meh its fine. I have my plan and as soon as I will feel that Im underpaid and not valued I will start searching for something better. My plan is to stay there minimum 6 months. Right now its all about the challenge and restoring my skills.

Worked as android dev for 2.5 year and then worked as java gameserver dev for 2 years.
Now I wanna go back to android dev so I spent the last month grinding kotlin/android basics and already have 2 interviews lined up this week. Applying for junior dev role because of my gap and because my confidence in my android ability currently is really low. Having ADD doesnt help because I suck in memorizing implementations, syntax and I suck at live coding under pressure.
Fuck it I will set their expectations low, will get lower salary and hopefully will impress the hell out of them during first few months. Wel see what happens...
Any tips/advices?
