Had to work with a lazy, stupid idiot who (literally) couldn't declare an empty string. Got in via nepotism and not only were there no basics but also no willingness to improve.
Something tells me that throwing someone out shouldn't be a pleasant thing to do but hell, I'm so happy that we can finally stop carrying that piece of dead weight and get back to pure coding without having to teach Programming 101 on the side.

I know the feels, I had someone like that in my team for the FINAL project of my college computer program, for 6 weeks we had to redo everything he did because it didn't worked OR it had to run for 15 min ( for a web application)

Seriously declaring an empty string can really be too hard for someone? Oo

@linuxxx He asked why he could not access data he gathered in a for loop, I told him to declare a string outside of the for loop, he opened his browser looked up 'string not in for loop' and copied a fucking string declaration followed by "debugging" a doubled variable, in eclipse, for pretty much 15 minutes. Basically everything he did the last six months was copy and paste shit together without any understanding. Same guy I ranted about a few weeks ago because he had no idea hiw to even call a script he and another coworker worked on for a month.
