    I use to have one on a droplet on DO, but decided it was unneccacary as I already have one with PIA for free

    How would that be safe ? I mean if you're vpn is on the same connection. As where you're sending from you only gain some security

    Just get one which actually works rather than emularung the feeling of being secure/safe.

    Either pay for one or use Tor

    In China, VPN service is essential. Have you heard about Shadowsocks?

    We just did that at work yesterday. Use pivpn, works quite well and is pretty easy to configure.
