vane112803yI propose rendering of realistic looking fluid animations using artificial intelligence 😅
you can sell it to advertising industry for couple of millions and also make some discovery in fluid mechanics space -
iiii92193y@DarthGuappi there are lots of people who are getting payed just to depict some third party characters procreating with each other in all sorts of ways.

@dan-pud Well, there isn't really a "google" or "nexus" for graphics engines despite nearly all modern engines behaving similarly and using primitives and filetypes like obj and wav. (Though I don't know if professionals use Daz or Blender or not)
If I could find a way to link all graphics engines, be they 2D or 3D, the omni-net (what I'm calling the metaverse, because facebook ruined that term.) becomes real.
I don't know much about A.I. or Graphics yet, but one solution is taking over the world and forcing all game developers to use the same engine. Since I have no political power, weapons, a short lifespan and am not a complete sociopath, I will endeavor for the technical approach. -
"I self-studied business, economics, physics, self-taught multivariable calculus, teaching myself chemistry too."
Maybe it's time to focus instead of going wide.
In your post, you mention environmental concerns, so maybe that's a topic you're passionate about. Now look at this vertical and identify opportunities. Then try to figure out how to apply your specific skill set to this problem and turn it into a business. -
@KaosKermit Environmental concerns are more of an obligation to my planet than a passion.
My true passion lies in tech that's killing us. Graphics and the show one gets through graphics. Fortnite concerts may not be a big deal to you : But that was a fucking life changing event for me.
Imagine everyone being able to make their own concert in fortnite, but as a boss, and the other 100 players had to fight this almighty boss that is literally warping reality and physics to crush any and all opposition while you the player have only your gun, your resources, and your squad.
Elon Musk's example is one to follow, but not one I fetishize. He's a grown man who never got a grip on his ADHD.
If I WAS to run multiple companies, I would do it better than he would. But, I did not fail upward like he did and profit big off the backs of my brother and Peter Thiel.
Focus is hard for me, because there is just so many amazing things to learn. How am I supposed to pick just one? X.x; -
JsonBoa29913y@DarthGuappi dude, I think you might be looking for "activism" more than "entrepreneurism".
Entrepreneurs aren't about "defending a cause" or even "solving a problem", they are about "satisfying a need or desire".
Take the environmental hazard of GPUs. An activist want to neutralize the problem, let's say creating a less power hungry technology, like Lazer or analog computing.
An entrepreneur wants to satisfy the urge people have for more environment-friendly stuff in a profitable way. Let's say, instead of "you buy a GPU for $$$$, you rent one for $$ per year and we will recycle it after three years". It does not even addresses the energy problems but attenuates the price gouging and the electronic waste problems. And makes some profit.
Entrepreneurs aren't tech geniuses, but wordsmiths. They find people who solve problems and point them at profitable business or consumer needs, and then find someone that wants pay to have those needs addressed. Finally, they set up the show. -
@JsonBoa I'm much to greedy to be an activist, but I appreciate that you think that of me.

@vane I never told you this but actually like this idea. . .Especially since I can't get the concept of revitalizing the desert parts of our planet with green again.

vane112803y@DarthGuappi well fluid mechanics is one of the most interesting things on this world starting from Archimedes trough Newton, Pascal, Bernoulli, Euler - they all studied it at some point. If you see how current most advanced fluid animations look like ( see siggraph ) and compare it to how fluid behaves it clearly shows how many we need to do in this space,
talking about space, water and space share many similarities, if you’re lucky you can beat Einstein theory of relativity just by looking at ocean and thinking about waves 🌊

I'm fucking Paralyzed and I need some advice.
I want to be an entrepreneur.
Not just an entrepreneur but a DAMN good one.
I self-studied business, economics, physics, self-taught multivariable calculus, teaching myself chemistry too.
But I haven't even started my career and I just graduated from University.
Right now I'm starting simple and just doing a few web development things.
But, I want to go deeper into a subject that hasn't really had its problem solved yet.
A.I. can sell you neat things, but it can't kill misinformation (yet).
Graphics are an integral part to gaming, but GPUs are the second greatest threat to our environment behind commercial jets.
Do I HAVE to choose between A.I. and graphics?!
