mihamil3318yI refuse to believe this. I'm fairly confident it is the CSS's fault for not working right. Haha
-
Kodoyosa98yThere is no way to make and structure CSS properly it always becomes a bigger mess at every characters you type ... CSS is $h!t
-
-eth18618yWell, you have a point. Nonetheless, still there can be some design fault if it is so difficult to write right.
Just generalizing, I don't know CSS beyond very basic, I don't work in web -
I love modern css with all of my heart, but the users don't. A lot of them in here still use Opera Mini and some other Chinese browsers. Sometimes to make something really works the same across the browsers I need to do ugly table layouts and makes me hate myself.

eldamir12298yCss deserves critique. Many of its flaws can be overcome with standardised structure conventions, but it does have flaws. The global name space is one of the big ones. Just Google "why css is bad" and you'll find a lot of interesting article that will widen your perspective.

flag020328yWell you're right. But Managing CSS is not easy. And ~sometimes~ always unpredictable because it doesn't work the way you'd expect it to.
-
@Kodoyosa - my point exactly. You don't know how CSS works. The key is writing excellent markup first.
-
@kaqqao I don't see your point. I don't complain about assembly language because I'm honest with myself... and I know that I don't understand it enough to have an opinion. Vertically aligning something probably requires 2 PHD's - or 10 minutes of focus and the desire to actually learn the various techniques.
-
@eldamir Sure. All the coaches in all sports also need a bunch of boring men telling their televisions how the team should be run. Nothing is perfect. CSS and HTML and JavaScript are all changing over time. War is pretty bad to, but no one here is doing anything about it.
-
@linuxxx FUCK stuff that is hard that I don't know - like building API servers... - I know the feeling... Things are frustrating... but often it's mobile safari that is ruining our chances...
-
@kaqqao Let me know when the new layout system arrives. I'll be excited to try it! :)
Be honest with yourself. If you hate CSS or think it's broken or whatever... you just don't know how to write it well.
