    Writing? I wouldn't try that with a project due on the next day.

    @beggarboy true, wait for the file to be written, then remove, but you still don't need to go to the task bar etc

    Until a backup external hdd with three years of pictures and data gets corrupted because of not removing it safely 😭

    Or just create a .sh/.cmd script to eject it quickly. 😊
