ostream3864318d@zlice all "freelance" gig I found was just normal employment without the administrative overlay. They still except me to show up in the morning 5 days a week

Voxera11365317d@ostream that because most customers cannot really estimate the value per task so they fall back on the tried per hour but to make sure you at least seem to work they expect you to be onsite.

lorentz12008317d@jespersh This is actually one of those use cases which generates real value and makes good use of the low transaction fees which are a distinct property of cryptocurrencies. If I'm allowed to cash out in £ quickly I don't mind it. I would prefer if it would work with other types of money that are less resource intensive to maintain, but since I hold the crypto for a very short amount of time my footprint is small.

lorentz12008317dThis also happens to be something that would work just fine without web3 by the way.
I wish I could be paid by task, that would be the most flexible way.
Any idea? I know there are some web3 / FOSS projects that are incentivizing people to work on their issues that way.
