Why is there brainfuck but no perl, go, haskell, ruby, objective-c, swift, groovy, rust, D, Elixir, scala and so on?

Assembler is not a language, you probatly mean Assembly.

@Gatgeagent I'm not even sure if assembly strictly speaking is a programming language. It does not have any logical abstraction, right? It's just processor instructions. A programming language on the other side provides abstractions. In object oriented languages for example data is abstracted in form of objects.
