DRHAX3414478y@runfrodorun AMD cards don't always perform better than NVIDIA on Linux, but are definitely more open source friendly. The issue with NVIDIA drivers is that you need a lot of workarounds to get screen brightness, color management etc to work properly on a laptop...

DRHAX3414478y@runfrodorun if you have a 1070 or better, 'll take it pls XD I get what you mean. It seems like only Intel has good gfx support on linux!

DRHAX3414478y@runfrodorun Really? That's so weird, when I had my laptop with switchable graphics, AMD would be really shitty and multi screen would almost never work, but with the Intel, everything worked perfectly fine! (Until memory leaks from the intel gpu driver started happening)

DRHAX3414478y@runfrodorun Yeah, because the WM starts to get slow af, specially 3D intensive ones like Cinnamon, KDE, etc

@runfrodorun when and how has nvidia declared war on linux? And how is intel taking data from users?
Thank you AMD for reminding me permanently to never buy any hardware from you again.
