    Can anyone on here help me with booting from usb for a Dell optiplex 755? It continually tells me that the boot option isn't available

    Maybe you need a Dell Optiplex 775 for the right permissions?

    1. Download this, put it on a CD and boot from it: https://plop.at/en/bootmanager/...

    2. Make sure you have your USB plugged in that you want to boot from.

    3. Once you're booted into Plop, select your USB.

    4. Prosper.

    Its because you have to turn on legacy support in BIOS most laptops dont have usb UEFI support.

    Go into BIOS and enable USB boot?

    FYI if it's an old 775, they locked this stuff down pretty heavily.

    It's pretty old, it's actually a 755
