We've been using JIRA for over half a year now, and my colleagues still can't use it properly.

I've never had the problem, but to some amazing technological feat, every time they create a ticket, it "disappears", so they make a NEW ticket with just the title references to the actual one.

Love my daily review of JIRA, it's like a fucking raiders of the lost ark scene.

"ooooo what does this one mean, perhaps there is a clue if i shine a light on it just right"

jesus christ incompetence is rampant

I think in most companies, no one really knows how to use jira properly. Even after decades of working with it.

Jira, Microsoft Teams and Outlook are the perfect setup to make anything disappear before you completed your task, getting lost in an incongruent system of boards, filters, chats and threads, and other boards, chats, and threads of a different kind.

That's when you have to set up daily meetings sharing screens of Jira boards and iterating over ticket numbers.

Why even use jira? Gitlab/github issues have most of the useful functionality - and way less stupidity. Jira only supports one assignee for example... Useless piece of crap.
