yeah man I know that. Right now I'm learning php and I got a friend that helps me but I always ask the question that I'm thinking on ask him on Google and 90% cases I found the solution.

it is frustrating that something as simple as searching for it online makes you seem like a genius when it honestly feels like common sense. all it takes is a little effort. everything else is free online.

I think the word you want is 'autodidact'. It means someone that has learned without the benefit of a formal education or teacher, "self taught" is kind of an oxymoron.

I work with a room full of non coders who always ask me non coding related questions that could simply be Googled. I'm smart and all, but stop interrupting me to ask how to use the crm, read analytics, reset your password, how to create a new account for an email sending platform... New stuff daily.
