    @No-one Found a sentence you might want to revise: "What can is it capable of?"
    Second heading under SystemMonitor :)

    Can someone help me with a ms question? I want some text on the main page to update automatically in a loop. Something that says Hi, I'm Jshakil and I'm a ______ I want that blank space to have an updated word. I think I made it confusing lol

    @newbiedog thank you, dude.
    I remember you. You were the one who complimented my site before too (in another thread).
    Thanks, man!

    @jshakil
    I've seen those on some websites. They look pretty good. One way you can do this is by placing a div with some text in it over the blank line. Then, you could change the text (maybe add some fade effects, too) using JavaScript (easier with jQuery).
    Let me know how it goes.

    @JTBringe I appreciate that, man. Thanks!

    @hacker I want it like that but it needs to delete e characters (backspace) and have the word typed out. Wonder how I do that...

    @jshakil look up the JavaScript substring() function.
    It'll help you in what you are trying to achieve. It takes parts of a word/text. You can increase and decrease the amount of letters of the word you want.

    @No-one @hacker @cpt-ado No SSL? 😵

    @linuxxx I don't know...Is getting a certificate really necessary for a portfolio website?
  • 1
    @hacker Define necessary. It's not high value information but since the beginning of this year google will place websites without ssl lower in the search results. Also, it just adds more trust to the site and with letsencrypt now, why wouldn't you? 😀

    @linuxxx Alright.
    I'll get a certificate once I move my website to my own VPS. Currently, I'm using GitHub Pages and I don't think it supports Let's Encrypt. Thanks for the information, bro!
