Why are you getting kicked out of school?

@DirtyBit We don't talk about... not since the accident.

I'm feeling confused after reading this emotional rollercoaster. Congrats I guess?

@DirtyBit progress. I didn't really know where I was supposed to be until the end of last month, kinda basing it off of when everyone else was getting things done, forgetting my quarters are only a month long, half the amount of most of the other students. And then of course my last quarter I'm far too busy to even be capable of catching up, especially now with the internship, which I'll have to take off the rest of the year for. I had thought I was doing fine because it seemed like a pretty natural pace for me, forgetting that I'm extremely slow. I probably just should have asked when my quarters ended so I'd have known when everything was due

I made a bunch of mistakes, I ought to be careful not to make them again

@gabinstuff Ouch that fucking sucks. Is there no option to repeat exams or the year instead of getting kicked out?

@JTBringe What accident are we talking about?

@DirtyBit well how my school works is when you get kicked out you can come back in 6 months if the waiting list isn't too long. Problem is employers don't really even look at certs from here, so I'd probably be better off applying for college and getting an actual full-time job.

@gabinstuff Where you live you can go straight to college without graduating from school first? If so hell yeah, that would be awesome. I'm enjoying college waay more than I did school, and imo some of it is even easier

@DirtyBit oh no I graduated, I go to a vocational technical school. I originally went there through high school, but now I go there full time

@gabinstuff Ooh right I see. School system here is a bit different so I'm guessing it's similar to the PLCs we have here

@DirtyBit but yeah, I hear college is a completely different experience, my dad loved it. I'm kinda excited to see what it's like myself ^^

@gabinstuff I higly suggest talking to as many people in the first few weeks as possible and trying to make friends, else the experience may be quite bad

Get your basics out of the way in Community College. Most Unis will accept transfers, especially if the CC is associated with the Uni system.
