Very unlikely to happen there are so many constraints to entanglement that make it unpractical to use for communication. I’d focus more on the big next steps of humanity, and that is and always will be energy production, consumption and storage. Nuclear fusion is a very interesting topic 😋

yeah, as the other said, quantum entanglement is pretty much useless for communication. It might be somewhat of a holy-grail of encryption, or at least key exchange, but the communication itself is a whole thing.

I always though that quantum entanglement is a silly name as it leads people to believe that it's literal magic where two particles are constantly magically communication, but that's not really what's happening, you still need to get the entangled particles from A to B to begin with, they need to be physically close to entangle in the first place and secondly, afaik, the moment you interact with them you break the quantum state....

Brilliant if you want to transmit a key and be sure no one else read it on the way, but not particularly useful when trying to play counter strike
