The things I know how to do I'm always least likely to even start and definitely unlikely to finish.

But anything I need to trial and error or experiment and learn I'm way more likely to waste days on for a coin flip of an eventual result

    Why do we do this?

because we are explorers and problem solvers, and we're satisfied and lose interest as soon as the problem is explored and solved, which is usually 25% of the way to the solution actually being implemented.

and the part where you just implement a known solution, that's the boring and tedious one.
