Medical device able to track heart rate, oxygen saturation, respiratory rate and more non-invasively.

Still working on it. Starting clinical trials soon. Best side job in the world!

@georgelynch I guess you could say it is. Our vision is for all emergency personnel to have access to these devices and be able to quickly attach them to everyone involved in an accident so they can get vital monitoring up and running quickly.

oh! neat! can it be used long term?

that sort of device would be intresting to combine with say a personal AI assitant to give it some ability to detect emotional reactions along with any health benefits..

Of coarse we probably dont want the centralized cloude type for that... that would be creepy....

Google already knows to much about us :p

@Zerq it can currently run for up to 6 hours. This is however without battery optimization.

Sounds awesome. I am creating a healthcare app that delivers and monitors pre surgery education and preparation. I would eventually like to tap into Apple watches and fitbits to track patient progress. Your idea sounds great. Good luck.

@blaoen cool! will it be an expensive bit of kit or something likely to be avalible to the mass market or a specialist item?

sounds like a fun bit of hardware to tinker with...

@Zerq The goal is to make it available in some version as a fitness tracking equipment. Regarding pricing I really can not say. Out approach is primarily scientific at the moment.
