What the hell is constantly wrong with Ubuntu installations? I never see an Ubuntu powered machine without also seeing this error message!

@zshulu Yeah my Ubuntu machine is always putting out this message and I haven't figured out what's wrong.

    @ytho does a system update + dist-upgrade fix it?
  • 0
@zshulu I keep it updated as much as possible.
  • 2
@ytho have you checked the system journal?
  • 1
@zshulu Nope. Not yet. Haven't been motivated enough to look into it.
  • 2
@zshulu That's why I decided to move on from ubuntu in the first place...

@ytho Everytime I'd open Ubuntu from standby I'd get this three times, and from off I'd get it five times. Never did figure it out, and nothing was broken or missing.

I have it when I use rythmbox for too long, when I switch WiFi networks too fast or randomly when I use the note app (???)

Same with xfce once in a while,. Thinks its some fiddly that do exit correctly... But the gui crap is unable to understand it and nags about it. Gr8 explaination.

I don't want to move on from Ubuntu mainly because of the amount of themes available for it and because of the global app menu. It makes everything look so much cleaner!

@Jop- That will be the day when I can finally move on. Into a better distro, a better world.

Hopefully they'll have a global app menu in this new world

@Jop- Idk honestly just one with a global app menu so maybe something like Mint XFCE or something

Two most common things can be found on major Linux machines.Ubuntu errors and fedora selinux messages.

But seriously they have to launch freaking unity to show some info program? Wouldn't it be more reliable to have the simplest X imaginable? The less you have, the less can go wrong.

@Joserc87 Normally it would show a map with weather radar and locations of arriving or departing flights.
