Going in for a restaurant interview today because no tech companies want to hire a college student, but I have to get by somehow....

@Torbuntu That's true I haven't got a degree but I have 5 years experience now. All you need is a good portfolio and you will prob get hired

That really varies from country to country. Where I live it's common to start working while still studying. The brightest people are hired already when they're early in their studies. Someone just about to graduate can basically send resumes to a couple of places and pick the best deal.
