That’s right! You can pick your favorite color as the accent color of JoyRant in the settings.

The new ColorPicker in SwiftUI is really great!

Here is how it looks like with purple instead of the default orange/peach 🙂

@Lensflare that purple doesnt fit AT ALL!!!Glad that picker to change it exists now :)

Also, but this is just my personal opinion, if my or the app i use uses amoled mode, i wouldnt want the bottom navigation bar to be not amoled black (on the feed image). It just destroys the darkness :D

And the brighter comment btn would make me go crazy since its standing out so much.. (although i dont know how it looks in light mode or with different accent colors)

I appreciate that ur making an alternative client for devRant though! Its truly sad that the real one got abandoned. And im sure its much fun :)

I don’t know what amoled means but that’s a standard iOS effect for the bottom and top bars. The bar’s background is invisible unless there is scrollable content behind it. The bars are a little bit translucent and blur the content behind them strongly. It looks a bit like thick glass.

@Lensflare oh okay! I dont use ios so i dont know about it :/ Amoled is just the technology of screens who can have some pixels truly black meaning they are off. Instead of LCD where black pixels are still bright.

@joewilliams007 regarding the comment button: you are right. It does stand out a bit. I’ll consider changing the design of it.
