    That’s a nice idea and I’m interested in language design myself (no experience though).

    But I’ve somewhat lost interest in that a bit after languages like Swift, Kotlin or Rust appeared. They are almost perfect for me. But even though I still have some things that I’d like to improve or change, I’ve realized that it’s never worth it to invent a new language for that.

    So, please don’t get me wrong, but don’t you also think that we have too many languages already?
    I get it that learning how stuff works does not necessarily mean that it will be used to make new languages, but it feels like it promotes the idea that we need more languages, which I find problematic.
