Excel is the devil when dealing with csv files

Lots of CSV encoders are wrong and very bad. They don't follow the specs, and just rely on the data being of a certain format (like not containing the separator).

Anyway, one of the best easy CSV viewers you can have is in LibreOffice Calc. If you want to import it to a DB, there's this thing ... I forgot its name ... ah, csvkit
