    A lot of people agree with this. But you don't see that many as most are waiting for the update to finish 😕

    definitely not:
    - on windows: "an update...boring"
    - wannacry, damn windows... "why did you disable updates?"
    - other os: "wow an update, cool!"

    Oh yes... I remember those things back when I used Windows. Now I switched to Linux and I'm happy, because when something bad happens, I know I'll find a way to fix it!

    @Shmanio It's just an update, your comment remind me all these 90s jokes stereotypes, when I was young and Windows was bad .... than I didn't see a single freeze since Windows 7 (than 8 and now 10), also I always found a way to solve few problems also on Windows ... but if you're happy with your choice good for you

    @dontbeevil actually the OS you choose doesn't matter that much, as long as you manage to make it work as needed

    @sak96 no offense, but I usually switch off the pc at the end of the day, in case will be an update to install it will be on in his time (usually not so long, except major releases) ;)

    Reminds me of the speaker who got an update popping during his speak at websummit last year 😂😂

    I'm mostly using linux these days, but used Windows for years and Windows 10 as well. It isn't that hard to configure it correctly. I don't think I had a single unwanted restart in the last 15 years.

    @olback nope ... not a single problem/freeze since windows 7 (than 8, 8.1 and 10)
