Honestly if this is real it's gross negligence on the CTO and his engineering team not the junior. The legal team of that company will be faaaar to busy dealing with the lawyers of their investors who will want the CTO incarcerated.

I just can't fathom how stupid that practice is! I didn't get access to a prod environment until at least a year (I think) after I graduated. I also don't think I've worked anywhere were their wasn't at least an authentication step before reaching production!

Again if real they deserved for this to happen, I just feel sorry for the junior who made an honest mistake and will have a lot of unfounded guilt on them forever.
