Does 11 hours a week make me a serial ranter, a rantophile or both?

Also wtf could I have possibly been doing on the home and lock screen for 2.7 hours this week?

    Ha!! I'd say both :)

Btw this is a great image to show people who have complained about battery life on iOS (actually first complaint I heard/saw was a few mins ago). This shows very respectable battery usage on par or better with the os/big apps.

@dfox I noticed that image too, hence the tag.

Again, well done to you and @trogus on creating a truly fantastic app and community for us.

Oh, btw, would love some api so I can make my alternative version of devrant 😎

Oh come on ppl, downvotes on that? What happened to code, eat, sleep and the free spirit of creating things. Maybe I am not an asshole trying to tell everybody that somebody did a crap job on something? All I want is the freedom to have my own personal version of it. Did that with my Marantz remote, my Philips TV and wifi router, my meta-frontend to Match.com and countless other things. All in use by me and at home. Privately.

I welcome all nay sayers to an open discussion about why this got downvoted.

@pardeike We dont have a documented API, but some industrious ranters have managed to deconstruct it by poking around the website. There is a user made windows phone client and a few other unofficial versions flowing around out there. Certainly we dont want people trying to repurpose our data to build a competing platform, and we do need to make sure no one is misappropriating the devRant brand, but the API is discoverable

Thnx for the heads up. I totally understand you. I saw the different repos out there but rather wanted someone from the team to comment than to go ahead and use a non-appropriate framework or reverse-engineer your stuff. 🙃

A solution to this would be to hand out api keys which will allow you to shut down any unwanted access. But I guess that's not on your high priority list.
