    How can u tell its linux?

    @sovietspy2 It actually shows an error message so that rules out OSX, and its not prompting for any updates so it isn't Windows either :P

    @corjaantje windows' defination of error is "something Happened".

    @matsaki95 windows uses backslashes ;)

    C:\bla\bla

    It could possibly be a weird Mac configuration, but Mac typically doesn't allow you to modify root directories, so It would look like (I don't know the file structure of a Mac, this is pseudofiles):

    /usr/walmart/programs/teaser

    On a side note, pseudofiles sounds like something you'd go to jail for. Perhaps that's not a great word.

    @matsaki95 It's easy! Backslashes face backwards: \

    Forward slashes face forwards: /

    It COULD just be a 403 error in a web browser. Lots of these things are just web browsers pointing at stuff.

    I hate to respond to a rant this old, but do you remember if this was on a customer facing screen on a POS register?
