What are the most important skills/assets one should bring to the workplace? As a developer and a colleague.

    Think of the team first, always help, ask questions, don't think you're the best/worst. Talk about other stuff than work :)

    As a collegue: good coding ethics and maners.

    First three months of work : be in semi- stealth mode trying to understand office dynamics. Don't try to demonstrate something to anyone, just do your work. After three months you'll know who to trust and who's shit.

    As a developer comment and don't be afraid to ask questions. No one will ever knock you for not knowing something, but of you pretend to know something and then screw up people will not trust your work
