trying to teach my little sister(13) her first programming language. decided to go the microsoft way and start with C#.
the moment she finished her first
hello world made me so proud of her :)

    Nice. Was trying to teach my little brothers coding and they had no patience for it... 😦

    Should have taught her assembly. She would be programming god by the age of 20 ;)

    @provector when we have finished C# we will have brief look at assembly I promise :P

    If she's interested, I'd follow up with JS or Python.

    From C#, you have a solid foundation to read an understand strict OOP code in other languages in the future. JS and Python are the two high-in-demand languages with completely different styles... I found it very useful to learn multiple styles early on.
