I'd do anything to be in the gym, love it. My gym is always empty when I go. People in my area don't wake up at 3 am. Wtf right?

@bendr I'm the opposite, I wish there were people going to my gym when I go.

What pace do you go at that allows you to write notes? 😯

Yup. I love it. But 3 weeks ago I dislocated my shoulder. Will resume next week.

@divs that's crappy, mind if I ask how?

@cjozwiak ego lifting during shoulder press 😶 I learned it the hard way. :P

@divs ah gotcha. My shoulder game is pretty weak. Don't know my one rep, but I use 70 lbs for my sets now.

I don't go to the gym cause I don't like rinse and repeat on a device. Have that already to much on my job. But I train myself using bodyweight exercises and running. And you even get some fresh air :)

    develop what? Packs?

I used to go to the gym. Now I have a gym at home. Nothing special, just a power tower, some basic weight sets and I do a lot of body weight exercises. Keeping fit is important, improves your mood and energy.

@pain wouldn't running involve repetition? If you switch to a different route it's still running. Perhaps you run differently every time?
  • 2
@cjozwiak well you are kinda right. But as you said you can always change your route and then there are different workouts like the basic one where you run a specific amount in moderate pace without stop and several high intensity workouts about walking small distances as fast as you can with a recovery time between. With that you keep it a bit different each time

@pain Ah yes, didn't see it that way.

@maltedMilk any kind of movement with repetition is excersice. It's the repetitive tightening of the muscle that causes tears. But even if you don't lift weights for excersice swimming still gets you to utilize the muscle you already have.
